Currently located in the most beautiful island in Europe - Cyprus "Emotion Lab" is a social enterprise which offers therapeutic art and self development masterclasses for different audiences
(with different mental health stages, age groups, skin colors, nationalities, etc.).
"Emotion lab" is giving a chance for everyone to feel peaceful through the creative art process on its own, helping to overcome mental health issues provoked by war, pandemic, Lyme disease, stress, anxiety, other mental disbalances. We are using professional art and therapeutic art tools, academic materials of Art history.

Ance Gricmane
CEO "Emotion lab"
Ance is professional artist and docent at University of Applied Sciences. Currently studying therapy in Academy Khatskevitch (Russia), (academical vacation for PhD writing, Art Academy of Latvia), visited University of Greifswald, Germany and University of Tartu, Estonia as a researcher, presented a lecture where investing the ideas of sacred modern altar paintings in Baltic Sea region.
Līga is born and grew up in Mersrags, in a family of eight children. After graduating from Talsi State Gymnasium, for one year she lived and studied political science in the University of Laiden in the Netherlands. Graduated the Baltic International Academy (she obtained the qualification of a lawyer) and the University Turiba (a professional master's degree in public administration with qualification of a manager of organizations and institutions).
2021 has made a Social enterprise "Emotion lab" under a provision of International Social Entrepreneurship accelerator NewDoor (Latvia), where offering self development masterclasses for individuals and groups.
Lately project revealed a new program for people with Lyme disease who encourage and support them. Program helps the audience to change the focus point in their life and concentrate on their talents while being on the Lyme and mental health renewal journey.
She has gained and improved her professional experience in the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia leading the secretariat of the Coordination Council of Large and Strategically Important Investment Projects. Participated in the implementation of the Baltic Sea Region Interreg program project and supported activities in the Business incubator.
Gained business experience in establishing and managing a tourism company in Georgia - Tbilisi and Kutaisi.
Since 2018 Ance works as a self - development coach with elements of therapeutic art in masterclasses, team building projects, reading lectures, leading the young and all interested into exploring the creative processes of life.
Currently she is active as a mentor in the international social business accelerator New Door, advising program participants and developing project proposals for the society.
